Sports 4 Return/Exchange Policy

Returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be clean and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Upon receiving a returned product, the item will be inspected by a member of the management team, and a refund will be issued within a 5 - 10 business day period once the item passes the inspection, and is deemed eligible for resale. Refunds will not be issued until the product has been received, inspected, and approved for resale. All products are inspected prior to shipping, with the condition of the product being recorded. Any clothing or accessories purchased must be clean and able to be resold (free of debris, wear, odors etc.), and must still have the manufacturer tags attached.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. All sale items are automatically classified as non-refundable, but can be exchanged for a different size or item of equal or greater value. Any clearance items, or items in the sidewalk sale collection, are final sale with no consideration for exchange, refunds or store credit. For regular priced merchandise, if an item is non-refundable, it will be indicated on the product page as final sale.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Any returned items without a receipt will be returned to the sender without consideration for a refund.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds (if applicable)
All costs associated with returns to the merchant must be paid by the customer. Costs may  include, but are not limited to, shipping, applicable taxes, and additional fees.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If the refund is rejected, then the product will be shipped back to the sender, or picked up in store by the purchaser if possible. If the product is resent to Sports 4 after the rejection of a refund, it will only shipped back at the customer's expense.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a 5 - 10 business days.

All refunds are subject to a $10 restocking fee.

Shipping and handling fees are not refundable.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Items are deemed defective if it, or any of its parts, fail within a 6 month period during a regular course of use. An item is not considered defective if it, or any of its parts, fail due to use outside its designated purpose, or to the abuse of the product (ex. using cross-training shoes for hiking, using running shoes for ball hockey, putting shoes in the washer and dryer etc). Slight cosmetic discrepancies (ex. slight differences in colour etc.) are not considered a defect, due to the nature of the manufacturing process.

If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at nathan@sports4.com, await a return authorization, and send your item to: Sports4, 149 Bank Street, Ottawa ON K1P 5N7, Canada. Items that are sent without an email requesting an exchange will be returned to the sender without notice or consideration. If the item is resubmitted to Sports 4 without a return authorization, then the item will only be returned to the sender at the customer's expense. 

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will be notified about the return.

Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Sports4, 769 Bank Street, Ottawa ON K1S 3V3, Canada

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
